Healing Isn’t Linear

Healing isn’t linear — and this past 2 weeks has made that loud and clear.

After procedure #4, I started off strong. I was back in hot yoga just four days later, feeling hopeful and energized.

But today? I’m barely walking. That’s what three hip bone injections in a row will do — my hip is officially over it.

This roller coaster isn’t just physical. It hits the whole family — never knowing if Mama will be able to walk, cook, drive, do bedtime. Some days I can. Some days I absolutely can’t.

But even on the hard days, I can feel the healing happening. And that’s what keeps me mentally grounded — knowing this pain has a purpose.

Thank you for continuing to ride this wave with us. You have no idea how much your love and support are holding us up.

We still need your help. We’re raising $400,000 for my lifesaving immunotherapy treatment — and every single donation makes a difference. Visit https://riseforlauren.org for a Rise For Lauren T-shirt or sweatshirt!
