We are profoundly heartbroken to announce that Lauren lost her courageous, hard-fought battle with cancer early Friday morning, January 16th.
Lauren defied odds not only with her inspiring inner strength, relentless tenacity, and deep passion, but also from your continued support and belief in her. She would not have had the opportunity of time and the path to remission without you.
Lauren brought so many people together in friendship and community. While we will miss her wide smile and infectious energy, we celebrate her time with us and the Rise of a community built on love. On behalf of her family and close friends, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Please keep her family in your prayers as they navigate the difficult time ahead, and please allow them privacy to grieve. A Celebration of Life will be planned and details are forthcoming.
