Things I’ve Done in the Last 14 Months Since My Diagnosis

Can’t Stop Won’t Stop

“We can’t just outsource our health to doctors. It’s both scary and empowering that it’s up to us.”
– Kelly Turner, PHD, author of Radical Remission.

Here are a few things I’ve done in the last 14 months since diagnosis:

  1. Went from steak and potatoes to a whole food plant-based diet (and the difference is surprising and astounding).
  2. Had all of my home water purified via Wellness Water Company, which has made a phenomenal improvement to my hair and the flavor of our drinking water.
  3. Researched (books, interviews) nonstop, reading encouraging and hope-filled books and stories of those who overcame a stage IV Cancer diagnosis. Ongoing.
  4. Took medical leave from my position as the CEO of Jollity to reduce stress and focus full-time on my health and family. Made possible by my selfless and supportive business partner, Jenn Hess, and our team of dedicated employees.
  5. Started acupuncture weekly to target stress and reduce inflammation.
  6. Switched out all of the products in our home and environment to reduce toxins, endocrine disruptors and more. Includes cleaning products, detergents, skin care, soaps, and more. The things I learned about what companies put into their products despite clear research showing links to all sorts of diseases is…. devastating.
  7. ♀️ Learning to appreciate life instead of rushing through it. This is an ongoing effort .

♥️ It is up to me, and I’m finding a way. One step at a time. Please help me if you can, so I can be an example to others that Stage IV is NOT a death sentence. Help me prove it!
