Steve and I arrived in Mexico last night. The hospital is top notch. While waiting in the lobby for my pre-op labs, I met a kind American who comes here for his medical care. He spends half the year here in San Jose Del Cabo, and the other half in northern Cali. He said this is a “top notch” hospital, the communication is excellent, and he now gets all of his and his wife’s medical care down here. He feels the quality of his care is BETTER than anything he got in the U.S. Surprised? Me neither.
His examples included spending an hour with the doctor, and how they communicate with him via text and email frequently as needed.
1st ablation + immunotherapy procedure is tomorrow morning, and it cost $74,800. That brings us to a total of $89,800 spent so far to save my life. And we’re just getting started.
