Learning a New Rhythm

Our little family is learning a new rhythm—and for the first time in a while, it’s starting to feel like life again.

The girls have adapted to Mama with a walker like champs. They scoot beside me, hold my hand steady, and even sneak in a few rides when I’m not looking.

Here’s the beautiful part: I’m improving. Slowly, stubbornly, and with every tool in the book—PT, rest, homeopathic remedies (hello Arnica patches), and the kind of community support that makes your heart swell.

Yesterday, I took the girls for a walk—with the walker. A milestone that felt lightyears away just a few weeks ago.

While in the hospital, I promised Steve I’d walk into Adelyn’s dance performance. Last weekend, I kept that promise.

We went to a birthday party. We made it to church. I even managed some simple cooking. It wasn’t fancy, but it was normal, and it felt like a massive win.

This healing journey isn’t just about getting stronger. It’s about getting well enough to move forward with my final two immunotherapy procedures—the ones we’re still fundraising for.

Please keep sharing. Keep spreading the word. Keep helping me prove—with grit, grace, and a walker full of sass—that Stage IV Breast Cancer can be beat.

Let’s show the world. Together.
